Theatrical Premieres in the US and UK

On Sunday, June 19th, 2022, The Art of Grieving had two theatrical premieres in the United States and United Kingdom. Both were followed by Q&As with myself and Lindsay Lederman.

The first screening took place at the Sandpitt Theatre in St. Albans, just outside of London. This screening was done in conjunction with the Art of Grieving art exhibit, ironically dawning the same name. The exhibit organizer, Kate, and myself got connected back in late 2021 and it ended up being the perfect fit for their exhibit, which centers around using art to heal through grief, the same topic as the film.

Proceeds from the film’s ticket sales go to benefit the Rennie Grove hospice care.

The next screening took place on Long Island as part of the Love Wins Film Festival on their opening weekend. This festival celebrates mental health and LGBT causes.
