Last Fall, I made a commitment to paint every day for an entire year and document that journey. After almost 100 days in, here are my key takeaways when you’re setting a goal or making a commitment:<\/p>\n
I’ve made it as easy as possible to paint each day, even for 10 minutes, though between travel and even a huge move with my family, that threw a wrench in my plan. Don’t let disruptions dissuade you.<\/p>\n
Drop your ego and know others are there to support you.<\/p>\n
By sharing your goals, it will keep you more accountable to achieving them.<\/p>\n
If you’re not totally bought in on the driver behind your work, then it will be easy to lose steam.<\/p>\n
Be present in your work each day.<\/p>\n
